CALIFORNIA DREAMING

I love living in California. The past decade has been just the best. The vastness and immensity of beauty is just infinite. From the depths of cliffs and oceans of Nor Cal- Big Sur, Napa, Sonoma Russian River Valleys to the flatter Los Angeles, Long Beach and San Diego which comprises Southern California.

Tomorrow, i'll be back in California for the Christmas Holidays. First stop, San Francisco, second stop Napa.. Third stop, Big Sur. Then we make our way to Los Angeles. and after the New Year.. New York.

It's been almost 2 years since i have been to Nor Cal- Napa, Big Sur and San Fran.


I was in L.A last Christmas too. It's where i call home.

Hong Kong, Hong Kong

LOVE HK. Ive been there like just a mere 30 times in the last 6 years. An average of 5 times per year. I just always have the best time when im over there. I may as well have left my heart in HK. The shopping is always exceptional. I frequent Joyce warehouse in Ap Lei Chau, an area where the grass is greener and the air is cleaner in HK. They also have the Lane Crawford warehouse there. ANd trust me, Fashionistas and shoppaholics, this will be your second home.

Food is great in HK. I was brought over by some amazing hosts, my usual host in HK to Stanley to have our fair share of the freshest oysters and sangria ever. With the serene scenery in the Stanley area, you feel like you're in the South of France. Good , refreshing change from the bustle of HK.


I also went to check out the christies auction for jewels in the HK convention center in Wan Chai. And i thoroughly enjoyed it. The exhilaration of auctions, thrill me. And, the amount of money and beautiful pieces of rare and collectibles fill the air. My favorite was a unicorn brooch by Japanese designer,Mitsuo Kaji .

Overall, nice trip. Nice hotel at Lanson place right in the heart of Causeway Bay.


I shall miss my friends there, till i'm in HK next time. Which is probably VERY soon.

Mystical Gemstones Alexandra Alberta loves

If there's any place that is purely fascinating and mystical, it is Arizona. Sedona, Arizona is my favorite. My family and me spent a good time there last December and we were blown away with the colors of the canyons. The colors gradually turning from orange to camel to beige. The beauty of mother nature. There i found some amazing coral and turquoise jewelry , and even went to a store where Ralph Lauren bought the entire store, for his collections some years back. Later, Neiman Marcus followed suit.
